The Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry™ welcomes Siddhi Nigam to the Business and Affirmative Action Council (BAAC), recognizing her impactful work in law, policy research, and social justice for marginalized communities.
Siddhi Nigam is a practising advocate enrolled with the Madhya Pradesh Bar Council and a legal scholar with professional experience across corporate and business law, regulatory compliance, litigation, and socio-legal policy research. She is currently associated with the Chambers of Advocate Sangita Moharir, where her work spans consumer protection, banking and insurance disputes and family law litigation. She is also pursuing a PhD on the intersection of copyright, data privacy, and AI-generated content, examining emerging regulatory challenges. She has authored publications focusing on insolvency and bankruptcy, intellectual property, technology law, labour and employment regulation, and public policy.
Her professional journey includes contributing to compliance research, employment and social security frameworks, digital economy regulation. She has also worked with institutions such as the Madhya Pradesh Law Commission and the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights, contributing to policy research, regulatory reform, and rights-based governance.
As a former Legal Journalist with Live Law, she has closely tracked judicial and regulatory developments affecting business, labour, environment, health, and social justice. Her socio-legal engagements reflect a commitment to gender justice, child rights, access to justice, and participatory governance, particularly for vulnerable and marginalised communities.
