4. Core Business Activity
Primary Activity: Silage Production
Adiwasi Shakti FPC specializes in the production of high-quality silage, primarily from Napier grass. The company has successfully established a robust system for fodder cutting, chopping, compacting, and bagging to supply nutritious silage to dairy farmers and cattle rearers.
Transition from Traditional to Technological Production
Until FY 2024–25, silage production was largely carried out through traditional methods which limited production capacity and efficiency. In FY 2025–26, the company shifted to modernized, technology-based operations using:
• Green Fodder Harvester Machines
• Tractor-operated cutting and chopping systems
• Enhanced storage and compaction methods
This transition has increased productivity significantly and improved the consistency and quality of silage.
5. Production Performance (Last 3 Years)
The company has demonstrated consistent and impressive growth:
• FY 2022–23: 400 Tonnes
• FY 2023–24: 700 Tonnes
• FY 2024–25: 1,150 Tonnes
This steady rise reflects improved farmer participation, organized procurement mechanisms, and growing market demand.
6. Expected Production for FY 2025–26
Based on the introduction of advanced machinery, improved community participation, and confirmed demand:
• Expected Growth: 35% – 45%
• Projected Production: 1,550 – 1,650 Tonnes
Technology Upgrade & Scale-up Plan
Earlier silage operations relied heavily on manual and conventional methods. With the introduction of a Green Fodder Harvester, the FPC is now capable of:
• Faster cutting and chopping
• Higher tonnage per day
• Improved product quality
• Reduced labor dependence
The company is now aiming for 5 times higher production compared to last year. Furthermore, the FPC already holds Purchase Orders (POs) totalling 1,500 tonnes, ensuring assured demand for the upcoming financial year.
