Ambedkar Chamber Welcomes Prof. (Dr) Babita Singh Parasain as Honorary Expert on Constitutional Law of BAAC
The Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry™ (ACCI) has featured Prof. (Dr) Babita Singh Parasain, Professor and Director, IILM School of Law, IILM University, Greater Noida, as the Honorary Expert on Constitutional Law for the Business and Affirmative Action Council (BAAC). Her inclusion strengthens BAAC’s vision of promoting affirmative action, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) by adding a strong constitutional and policy perspective to its work across India’s business and institutional ecosystem.
Prof.(Dr) Babita Singh Parasain is an expert in Constitutional Law, Philosophy and Parliamentary Law. She has researched on law and legislative practices in Indian Parliament under the Indian Constitution making suggestions for legislative reforms. Combining her experience in teaching and research with her professional association with the Apex Legislature, Law & Justice and External Affairs, she has been lecturing in Constitutional/Parliamentary Law with an added interest in International Studies.
She has been a nominated faculty in premier institutions, with experience in teaching foreign civil servants and legislative officers of 25 countries and Indian civil servants, Indian and Foreign students, researchers and university teachers.
She has also addressed Public Representatives (District Council Members) on subjects of Constitutional law. She has worked on curriculum and module development for law courses and has also written on reforms and restructuring of higher legal education in India.
Currently teaching law courses, she is Professor and Director at IILM School of Law, IILM University, Greater Noida.
She has authored the book, “The Question Hour in Parliament: Evolution, Processes and Procedures, edited books on law and legislation and has written Articles published in national and international journals.
