COMMITTEES

The Committees of the Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry™ function as structured bodies of leadership, expertise, and collaborative action. Each committee is formed to advance focused objectives rooted in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s core values of equality, justice, dignity, and enlightened citizenship. Bringing together experienced professionals, scholars, practitioners, community representatives, and sector specialists, these committees guide the Chamber’s initiatives with clarity, accountability, and purpose.

To strengthen our institutional presence and expand our impact, the Ambedkar Chamber has established dedicated committees in the following key domains:

Core Committees

• CSR Committee – Advancing responsible business practices, social impact, and community development initiatives.
• ESG Committee – Promoting environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and good governance aligned with national and global standards.
• Human Rights Committee – Safeguarding dignity, equality, and justice for all individuals, with special attention to marginalized and vulnerable groups.
• Labour Committee – Addressing labour rights, workplace standards, welfare measures, and equitable employment practices.
• POSH Committee – Ensuring safe, respectful, and gender-sensitive work environments through effective implementation of POSH principles.

Invitation for Committee Membership

The Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry™ invites proposals and expressions of interest from individuals who wish to become members of these committees. Professionals, academics, researchers, social leaders, industry experts, and practitioners committed to Ambedkarite values are encouraged to apply and contribute their expertise.
