Business and Affirmative Action Council (BAAC)
The Business and Affirmative Action Council (BAAC) is a dedicated council of the Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), established to promote affirmative action, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across India’s business ecosystem.
The Council works to institutionalise inclusive supply chains, inclusive workplaces, and inclusive entrepreneurship, ensuring that economic growth is equitable, participatory, and sustainable.
BAAC recognises that diversity and inclusion are strategic business imperatives.
The Council supports businesses in integrating inclusive procurement, supplier diversity, fair employment practices, and inclusive leadership frameworks into their core operations.
Through advocacy, partnerships, and capacity building, BAAC seeks to expand opportunities for historically underrepresented communities across value chains and workplaces.
